JNCIE – Juniper Study Material
Recently, I was talking to some friends and we were discussing the JNCIE certification (Thanks Azi and Joe!!!). I had previously wanted to get more Juniper certifications as I am a HUGE fan of JUNOS. I think the OS is very logically laid out and that Cisco IOS could learn alot from them. I was checking into my old certs and my JNCIA-M is still valid for 1 more year. I think I will be taking the JNCIS-M after my CCIE Written as I try to progress on both ladders. The good thing about the CCIE is that much of the knowledge can be applied to any vendor. For instance, OSPF LSA’s are the same regardless of vendor. The thing that has to be learned are the specific knobs used by other vendors such as Juniper, Brocade, etc. Either way, if any of you out there are thinking of doing some Juniper certs, I have compiled a list of some resources I have amassed over my time pursuing network knowledge.
Juniper has made a collection of Sybex books available for free download as they are currently out of print. The sick part is that these books are about 8 years old and most of the information is stilll 100% relevant.

On the old Juniper Fast Track website, Juniper had made available course material for some of their paid courses. The ones which interested me at the time were the Operating Juniper Routers in the Enterprise which is the introductory course and also the Advanced Juniper Routers in the Enterprise which is the more advanced course.
